Another Chalk Mural down, more to go...
The theme for this years Tempe Festival of the Arts Chalk-A-Lot street was Arizona.  I decided to portray the Wild Mustangs.  They are part of the west, our American Heritage.
This is my first realistic portrayal of a horse.

Ive just finished the Murals at Frys Marketplace in Tempe.  I had to work from around 9pm - 5am while the store was closed.  Got them done.

(One of the Fry's Murals)

So now I will be creating some fun murals for The Successful Sunrise Foundation here in Mesa.  The murals will be of various farm animals in a cartoon style.  Its going to be fun!

So Ive been working at Scottsdale Artists School as an Youth Art Instructor.  I finally decided to open my own Art Studio to teach young artists.  I'm super excited about this new adventure.  I love teaching and seeing the creativity come out of the minds of these young artists.

Ive been busy creating art but havent uploaded anything.

I did another Tempe Festival of the Arts Chalk Art Mural for Spring of 2015 but Im not sure where the final picture is.  I did not like how it turned out.  I tried to mimic the Featured Artists style and hated every minute of it.

Here is a work in progress...

So this time for the Tempe Festival of the Arts Chalk Event Fall 2015,
I decided that I was going to do my own style within this years theme.
I loved it and totally enjoyed working on this piece.
The theme was Antique Toys and Games.
It was a great theme and I found an image that I was excited to do.

Here is the work in progress...

I really enjoy creating street art.  Why?  Its like a performance and my way of getting to perform.

This is from the Tempe Arts Festival.  This mural is 10'x10'.  The theme was Habitation.  When I first applied I wasnt sure what the heck Habitation was and how was I supposed to create a work of art with that theme.  Well, its animals in human settings.

This is what I came up with to go with the theme Habitation.  A rabbit puppet, the concept was that we try and control everything that our pets do, from where they live, what they eat, how we interact with them..

I was helping a friend at a few chalk art events.  She wanted me to created a piece   The Stuffed bunny is my first piece that I have ever done in chalk (pastels).
First Chalk Art Piece

This next piece I was in charge of the Kids Zone and needed to do a center piece.  I chose a space theme.  I've realized that I really enjoy creating chalk art.  They don't last and so are considered Performance art.

Welcome...

Welcome to my blog.  I used to have one but I got rid of my website and blogs.  Part of the reason was because they were stolen via who knows who and used by someone else.  So I thought I would start again.

Its a work in progress but I hope to keep adding to this.  I really used to enjoy blogging, so now I can again.

I or my family have been asked if I have a website to show what I've done.  Well now I do.

ENJOY!
